Where Better Stack is the better fit
- You're a large engineering team on call. If you want incident management, logs and on-call rotations in one tool, Better Stack goes much further than Pingerer.
- You send lots of texts and calls. A Responder license includes unlimited texts and phone calls; Pingerer includes a monthly allowance and sells packs after that.
- You want more free monitors. Their free plan has 10 monitors and 10 heartbeats; ours watches 1 domain with every check on it.
Where Pingerer is the better fit
- You don't want to pay per person. Add your whole team, or your clients' teams, for the same price.
- You want your emails to arrive. Pingerer checks SPF, DKIM and DMARC for every domain, which Better Stack doesn't offer.
