Is it down for everyone, or just me?

Is it down, or is it just me?
When a site won't load, the problem can be at the site, somewhere in between, or on your side. This tool requests the site's home page from our servers, which aren't on your network, so it can tell the difference. When our probes in other regions are online, it asks them too.
If it's just you
- Try another browser, or your phone on mobile data instead of Wi-Fi.
- Clear the browser's cache for the site, or open it in a private window.
- If the site recently moved, your computer may still have its old address: restarting the browser or flushing DNS usually helps.
- A VPN, ad blocker or office firewall can block some sites.
If it's down for everyone
The result says what we got back. A 5xx error (500, 502, 503) means the server or the app behind it has a problem. Timed out or connection refused means the server isn't answering at all. Couldn't find it in DNS means the domain doesn't point anywhere, which often follows an expired domain or a DNS change.
If it's your site, you don't want to find out from a customer. Pingerer checks it every minute from several regions and alerts you only once more than one of them agrees it's down.
